(1868-1955) Макфадден, Бернарр
Издатель. Пропагандировал натуральную пищу [health food], лекарства на растительной основе, здоровый образ жизни. В 1899 основал свой первый журнал "Физикал калчур" ["Physical Culture"], за которым последовали многочисленные дешевые журналы [pulp magazine]. В 1924 создал сенсационную газету-таблоид [tabloid] "Нью-Йорк график" ["New York Graphic"]. В 1931-42 издавал журнал "Либерти" ["Liberty"]
